Place for Recharge, Recenter, and Resources
We’re currently working to finance our first respite center – a place where a family can bring their loved one for a few hours, or a few days – so caregivers can have the precious time and space they need to relieve stress and recharge for the journey ahead. We’re also bringing together a network of social workers and elder-care specialists who can help caregivers navigate the daily challenges of finding, evaluating, and securing the types of help they need most.
As caregivers ourselves, we are eternally grateful for everyone who has cared with and for us. They became an extension of our family. They still are. Just because some of us have completed a caregiving role doesn’t mean we have to lose that connection and support.
